Nutcracker
& Holiday Spectacular 2011
Join us in the Greenfield-Central High School Auditorium on Sunday, December 18 for this holiday tradition. Shows are scheduled at 2:00pm and 6:00pm. Students, there will be no dress rehearsal for this show!
Doors for the audience will be open 45 minute prior to showtime. Please refrain from "saving" more than one seat. It is general admission, first come, first served. No flash photography during the show. Video cameras must be battery powered and remain unobtrusive to other audience members.
You must return any borrowed costumes, props, or accessories immediately after you dance or after the show. Return them on the hanger or folded like you received them. Be sure the costume mistress check off your name when you return it!
- When: Ballet Students should arrive 45 minutes before their show time. Tap-Jazz and Pre-Dance should arrive at least 30 minutes before their show time.
- Where: Report to the cafeteria where you can get any costumer or props that you need.
- What: Check with your instructor on what you need to wear (i.e. shoes, tights, pants, shirt socks, etc.). Have your make-up on and hair done.
- Finale: For the safety of our student and the organization of our show, all students must stay backstage during the show and will go on for the finale (except Jumping Jacks). You may change out of your costume and turn it in. Please wear something Christmas-y!
- Chaperones: Parents available to help backstage for half of the show should volunteer to your instructor. (We want you to watch the half your student is in!)
- Jumping Jacks: Arrive just 15 minutes early. Parents, come to the stage after they dance to get them to sit with you for the show (you should have gotten a toddler ticket for free). They may join us for the finale.
